Are there Cheats for DayZ?
There are indeed cheats for both of these: There are visual mods that will allow you to see items and enemies through walls and there are aimbots that allow you to automatically shoot players and zombies. There are also various ammo hacks, teleporting hacks, walking through walls, speedhacks and even item spawning hacks that become available for download from time to time. However, there are NO god modes, item hacks or similar. 

DayZ Cheats

Cheats in the DayZ Mod and Standalone versions are pretty much any methods that allow you to survive longer, get more loot, get more kills and amass riches and ammo faster. Now obviously there are no cheat codes integrated into the game, since this is an online shooter and cheating is not a part of the game that was intended by its creators. Now in DayZ the possibilities when it comes to hacking are a lot more extensive than is most other online shooters: Aside from the usual ESP hacks and Aimbots, there are some client side hacks that can give you more ammo, allow you to teleport great distances and even duplicate items. – We do expect these last ones to get patched at some point, but so far they still are possible, if hard to come by. Now as always you need to be careful when downloading free hacks for DayZ. These are not all legit and a lot of then get detected quite quickly, leading to your account potentially being in danger. EPS Hacks for Easy Looting and Avoiding of Danger

ESP stands for “Extrasensory Perception” and ESP hacks do generally make objects visible on your screen that would usually not be visible or very hard to see. In DayZ Mod and Standalone ESP hacks are especially overpowered, since the game is all about being aware of ones surroundings. Most decent hacks will make zombies and other players visible, allowing you to easily avoid danger. More advanced cheats will even highlight and name items (loot) making it very easy to find specific items such as food, drink, weapons, attachments, ammo and clothing.

The reason why ESP hacks are working is that your PC has to load the environment that you are currently in. By reading the data, a skilled hacker can easily create a program to highlight relevant objects in these surroundings. Since you can get to late-game without killing anyone and that is even desirable if you are playing a hero character, ESP hacks are the most useful hacks for DayZ at the moment.

 

Aimbot for DayZ

As the name says, aimbots are robots (programs) that will aim for you. Some aimbots include an additional auto fire mode that will even do the shooting for you. Now aimbots are especially useful in the early-game of DayZ, since you have no guns and have to fight zombies in melee range. Hitting Zombies with an axe or bat is quite challenging and a lot of players die due to that fact. An aimbot will do the aiming for you and hit the zombie straight in the head and kill it in one hit. In the late-game aimbots are useful as well, especially if you are a bandit and out for some PvP, but they are not as useful, since killing zombies with guns is not that hard.

Not all aimbots are 100% accurate due to the fact that DayZ Mod and Standalone Versions feature realistic bullet drop and multiple sniper rifles that can be adjusted. Another problem is that not all guns have incredible range. An aimbot will help you aim, but will not make you invincible. If you have a 9mm pistol and are facing off against another player that has a sniper rifle and is 150m away, chances are you are still going to lose.

  

Map Hacks – Finally I Know Where I am!

Map scripts are some of the latest inventions that the DayZ cheating community has been able to work out: They basically provide you with all the information that you could wish from a map in any shooter and as we all know the default or “stock” version of the in game map is not all that helpful when it comes to quick orientation and navigation. So what your normal map script will do is to not only display your position on the land and your orientation, but the locations of other players and even the loacation of important objectives like helicopter crash sites. As we all know crashed helicopters usually contain the best loot and weapons in the game and being able to find them quickly after a server reset is not only useful, it is straight up overpowered. It also makes server hopping to find good loot a lot easier and you will not have to travel for hours to find an already looted crash site over and over again. So this kind of cheat is incredibly useful if you are trying to find people, weapons, gear or avoid the aforementioned other players. Overall a very useful script that we hope will be integrated in all our recommended hacks soon.

DayZ Unlimited Ammo and Dupe (Item Duplication) Exploits

While in most FPS and online shooters all important values are processed on the server and cannot be changed through any software, this is not entirely true for DayZ. Over the last months people have found ways to let the game client think that you have huge ammo stacks and magazines with literally Millions of bullets. – However, these kinds of hacks are all private so far and none of them have been made available publicly. This is due to the fact that the cheat would get patched quite quickly, if anyone could use it and the fact that people are making money off of it. There are also a bunch of techniques that can be used to duplicate items. While most of them are extremely unreliable, duplicating items is certainly still possible in DayZ. The procedures for these two cheats change all the time and there is not just one single way of duping or ammo glitching. However, we do not recommend that you use these cheats, since they will sooner or later get you banned once the developers catch on. 

Is it safe to use Hacks in DayZ?
Using ESP hacks and aimbots in the DayZ Mod or Standalone is probably the savest place to use hacks at the moment, since the developers are more concerned with developing the actual game, than getting rid of cheaters. However, since this is a PC exclusive game it is to be expected that there will be a lot of other cheaters and that sooner or later something will have to be done about it. So if you are using free hacks or aim bots in this game, be really careful once the game is officially released. Those of you using paid hacks with a subscription fee will not have to worry, since you are guaranteed undetected and working hacks for the duration of you subscription if you find a reliable source.

DayZ “Private” Servers – Buying The “Legit” Kind of God Mode

There is another cheating method for DayZ the Mod and Standalone that will most certainly work, but is a lot more expensive than most others: One could technically buy or rent their own server and use it not only to get exclusive looting privileges by kicking anyone that enters the server automatically, but it will even be possible to get a legit God Mode (Unlimited Health, Ammo ect) working on the DayZ Mod and maybe even the SA version. However, your own server will either require you to run the server on a PC of yours (DayZ Mod) or to actually rent a server (Standalone). Renting a server will cost you somewhere around 1.5$ and 2$ per slot and month. So if cheating is worth 30-60$ per month to you, then this might actually be a valid option to try. If you are hosting the server on one of your own PCs, which is only possible in the ARMA 2 Mod, then it is literally as simple as using some cheating software like Cheat Engine to freeze your health and ammo. If you are renting a server, you may not have root access, but you might still be able to mod the server is some ways depending on the provider. It is recommended that you are very careful though, since it is technically against the license that comes with the server agreement that you kick other players or mod the server. – So you should better know what you are doing or you may just lose your private server very quickly. It is certainly an exploit used by certain clans out there to get the best gear: They rent their own server, kick all other people automatically or password protect it, then loot all the good stuff and reset the server. – Rinse and repeat and in no time you got a full clan with the best gear in the game.

 

About Buying DayZ Scripts and why Free ones are hard to Trust

There are a lot of forums out there that allow people to upload their own created cheats for various kinds of games and usually all they have to do in order to get their files approved is linking a virus scan. – Now we do not condemn this concept and use it ourselves on our own forum, but we have to warn you that it is not at all safe for you. Most people do not just simply invest 100s or working hours into creating a program and then just give it away for free. – I mean would you? I’m not saying that they are all out to harm you, but some certainly are. Human nature kind of dictates it. So some of the software will contain keyloggers, malware, adware and other kinds of bad software you do not want on your PC at all. They will often simply link a fake virus scan to achieve this, so you have to double check everything and always scan files before unpacking them (.zip .rar ect). That is where private hacks come in and while they obviously are paid, then offer a lot of advantages: Private cheats are kept undetected and up to date literally 24/7 if you find a quality provider, they are 100% clean since the developer makes his money by you paying then and not through malware, they generally offer a lot more features and are a lot more easy to use. So overall we do recommend that you either make sure the free software you are about to execute is 100% clean and by a trusted dev or you simply go with a quality private alternative.

God Mode, Teleport Exploits, NoClip Cheats

In the mod and the early builds of the DayZ Standalone things like Unlimited Health, Teleporting and Walking through Walls were possible. However, this kind of cheat gets patched very quickly and is unlikely to be working for extended periods of time. Especially the God Mode exploit is no longer possible, since the player health is now processed by the server and not the client (your PC) anymore. These kinds of cheats usually are working in very early alpha/beta states of a game and are one of the first exploits to be patched, once the game actually hits the “shelves”. – So do not be fooled: Even though this kind of cheat might have existed at one point that there is video material backing up that fact, it is now very much impossible and people claiming to offer you working God Modes and similar cheats, are probably out for your money and do not offer any legit product.

Is cheating in DayZ legal and will I get Banned for doing it?
Cheating in games is legal everywhere on the planet and indeed the galaxy. You can get banned from individual servers if you are being too obvious about cheating. Try to stay under the radar and you will never run into any problems. Using outdated cheats will get you banned permanently, which is why we recommend using paid hacks that have an incredibly low detection rate.
